Cats make everything better, and some people love them so much they would wear them on their sleeve—or inside their pocket. That’s exactly the idea behind Hiroko Kubota’s collared shirts, which feature tiny, embroidered cats peeking out of pockets.

According to Bored Panda, Kubota’s son inspired her to start making her signature shirts. Most store-bought clothes didn’t fit him due to his smaller build, so she started making him his own. At his request, she started embroidering the shirts with cats peeking out from the breast pocket—and the rest is history!

Kubota’s shirts became a huge hit on social media, attracting over 20,000 followers to her Instagram page. They also started selling them and easily found many interested buyers despite a pretty high price tag of $250-300.

Given the internet’s obsession with cats, it’s not a shocker to see Kubota’s creations go viral. The cats on her shirts will win you over with their unique personalities, and they perfectly capture the incredible diversity of this animal species.

Cat shirts put Kubota on the map, but her embroidery skills don’t stop there. She enjoys stitching together all sorts of different animals, from dogs and birds to frogs and geckos.
